But why should we listen to it?

For whom the land tolls

February 29th, 1884. Beyond the southern bank of the river Po, facing the cold, northern Alps, an empty space lies untrodden, covered in snow. Giovanni Angelo Reycend, an important local engineer, has been appointed to come up with a project for a college where the daughters of military soldiers throughout the whole of Italy may have access, as future mothers, to a better education. His ideas are widely appreciated and eloquently made, as many will believe later on in time, but they are concrete and soon applied: before the end of 1888, the empty space is covered up by a long-deemed, immense building, delightfully contoured by red-brick walls.

今年中国国际选项开始。一些“Altiero Spinelli”学校的学生参加这一倡议 ,从 两年到现在这个学生学习汉语! 学生们学习中国民族乐器,学生们学习怎么演奏它们。 器打 老师西方音乐,口语老师跟学生们说话,她教中国音乐。 法拉都 老师帮学生们,她教中国语法。 现在足额生们知道二十中国乐器左右和五个方法,他们也觉得中国音乐非常好!

Meine zweite Heimat: Deutschland

Während meines dritten Jahrs im Gymnasium habe ich mich entschieden, dass ich eine neue Kultur, ein neues Volk und neue Leute kennenlernen wollte. 

So habe ich für ein ganzes Jahr mit einer Organisation zusammen gearbeitet und ich habe eine neue Familie, eine neue Schule, praktisch ein neues Leben bekommen!!

The Vichy Diaries

Le Pont de Bellerive

Du 18 au 24 Septembre les classes de la deuxieme année sont allées en voyage scolaire à Vichy. On nous a fait reveiller tôt pour prendre le car en face de l'école, où après un heure seulement pour fixer les bagages, une horde de garçons faméliques ont combattu bec et ongles pour attrapper les sièges à l'étage supérieur. Pendant le voyage nous nous sommes très amusés, quelqu'un dansait, quelqu'un chantait, jouait aux cartes ou lisait. Bien évidemment la partie supérieure du car était la plus "gitée, à cause de l'absence des profs, qui nous sourveillaient avec une caméra cachée.

                         Meno male che c'era lei dietro le quinte della scuola

Maria Luisa Vighi Miletto, brillante studentessa al liceo Massimo D'Azeglio e in seguito alla facoltà di Filosofia di Torino, ha cominciato a insegnare all'età di 23 anni. La sua carriera da preside è iniziata quasi per caso, quando a 25 anni una sua collega le ha affidato la direzione di una succursale. Da lì ha intrapreso il suo lungo percorso come Dirigente Scolastico in vari istituti tra cui il nostro. Ora, dopo 12 anni dall'arrivo alla Scuola Internazionale Europea Statale Altiero Spinelli ha deciso di dare le dimissioni e noi le abbiamo posto qualche domanda.
