Schüler P: Nein, ich denke, dass man nur in Freizeit Comics lesen sollt.
Studentessa C: Si, è un ottimo metodo per integrare in maniera alternativa argomenti che, studiati tradizionalmente, potrebbero risultare noiosi o un po' difficili da comprendere.
Student M: I think mixing comics and school books is a great idea to make lessons more interesting, easier and different.

Snowboarding

The school’s snowboarding competition takes place in Bardonecchia in January. Last year girls weren’t many, only two: Sophie Noire and Marta Lovisolo, whereas the boys were the majority. The first competition was won by Marta, Sophie and Alberto Espen’s team. They have also won provincial and regional competitions in the past. They should have also participated in the national competition but it was called off because there wasn’t enough snow.

DESDE+ ESABAC

Una delle peculiarità della nostra scuola è sempre stata il dare ai suoi studenti la possibilità di stabilire dei veri contatti con i paesi di cui si studiano le lingue, non soltanto tramite i numerosi scambi scolastici, ma anche permettendo di ampliare le proprie conoscenze linguistiche con lo studio di altre materie veicolato in lingue straniere. Due esempi concreti (oltre alla famosa Opzione Internazionale Cinese) sono l'ESABAC, l'ormai storico progetto per lo studio della lingua francese, e la più nuova Opzione Internazionale Tedesca, i quali permettono, alla fine del percorso di studi (previo il superamento di una speciale prova di maturità scritta e orale in francese o tedesco), l'accesso alle università tedesche o francesi senza sostenere test di ingresso.

Viene Fassino: niente meno che il sindaco a farci visita, a noi dell'Altiero Spinelli, a noi che pensiamo in quattro lingue e ne parliamo tre, perché due, nella confusione, si sono mescolate. Viene Fassino, la scuola freme, l'orchestra e il teatro si mobilitano! No, Fassino non ci sarà. Fassino è stato trattenuto a Roma a causa della situazione del paese, che tutti conosciamo, ma in compenso la scuola potrà incontrare l'assessore all'istruzione, Mariagrazia Pellerino.

Mi è stato offerto il privilegio e la responsabilità di poterLa salutare e di poterLa ringraziare. Per farlo preferisco tenere sotto gli occhi alcuni punti che mi preme non dimenticare. Questa occasione mi ha dato la possibilità di poter riflettere su quello che questa scuola, la Sua,la nostra scuola, mi ha dato in otto anni sul piano personale e intellettuale, qualcosa di esclusivo che altre scuole non avrebbero potuto offrirmi.

It is with great grief and sadness that we bid farewell to our now ex-preside, Maria Luisa Vighi Miletto, on Friday December 16th. “Despite the festive atmosphere, it was a dark time in my life” a student gravely stated.
In fact, all throughout the ‘Festa per la Preside’, laughter and applause could be heard, cut in between by occasional sombre faces as kids and adults remembered the reason for which they were present. Numerous students recited, sang and acted different things, all ending with a “We’ll miss you!” and “Have a nice life”.

E’ con grande piacere che diamo il benvenuto alla nostra nuova preside Carola Garosci! Anche se molto impegnata, ci ha  gentilmente concesso di intervistarla perché (si sa) vogliamo un po’ tutti sapere qualcosa su di lei!
